But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes,
and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. Isaiah 42:22.
Light reveals what is hidden and recovers that which was lost. Light is a tool for restoration of glory, colour and dignity of man. Darkness is comparable to prison life, where the rights and privileges of liberty are denied.
In darkness good cannot be appreciated, neither is the future in view. Those in darkness are robbed and spoiled; some become victims of their circumstance or situation. Those that settle in darkness live for now at the expense of the future. Permanent decisions are made over temporary situations; depression & oppression sets in
Light cannot be achieved, it can only be received! Christ is the light of life, life begins with an encounter with the light of Christ.
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world:he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12.
Until light comes, darkness continues as the norm. Do a quick check, is the light around you is darkness? Can you see? Do you understand the life you live or living for now? Is eternal life a guaranteed or a guess? Do you have the picture of your future?
Christ is the light of life both temporal and eternal, no dark areas are allowed. He lights up the world by lighting up your life. I am the light of the world, every light bearer is illuminated by his light.
Light gives you the right to life, Christ is the light of life. Your long obscured status is now being revealed by his light. You can now become the light of the world and a city set on a hill by receiving the light he gives.
Welcome to life, receive his light. Light is your right to life.
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16.
Prayer: Father, I thank you for your shining light that gives us the right to arise and shine. Now i know that the light of Christ is the master-key to life. It can be received but not achieved. I yield myself to more of this light to have more life in Jesus name.
