The spirit of Daniel.

He delighteth not in the strength of the horse:he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion. Psalms 147:10-12.

Have you heard this saying before? “Heaven help those that help themselves” sounds familiar? This statement or cliché at least acknowledges that there is help from heaven. I seem to like that just like many others; But the statement is not scriptural, it’s not from the good book. It’s from the play book of advocates of self help first before the help of God. What God does not conceived, he neither helps or supports. He does not support your agenda, he has hie own will to support. This is why many projects & programmes are unsupported or unfit for support. He does not delight in self help, but in the help of the Holy spirit. The holy sprit is the helper. Help has emigrated from a desire to a person.

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him:but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”John 14:16-17.

The helper is within, help is not without. Quit seeking for the legs of man popularly called long leg syndrome or the strength of the horse- mercenaries. The Holy spirit is all the help needed for life. Long leg is now the restriction, mercenary becomes the humiliation. The holy spirit supports, helps and beautifies destiny. That is help personified and divine support completed. First is not reserved for those with long legs, mercenaries are their undoing. Welcome to life of unlimited opportunities with the anointing to be first. Flesh versus spirit, you don’t stand a chance. Be first among the best with the help of the holy spirit. That is the spirit of Daniel; your personal helper.

The holy spirit is Heaven’s gift, his gifts are all the help needed.

“As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom:and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.”Daniel 1:17,20.

Empowered for exploits.

He delighteth not in the strength of the horse:he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem;praise thy God, O Zion. Psalms 147:10-12.

Help is a necessity, the source is the challenge. God has never needed help from man, he is our helper. God gives help to all, never needing the help of any. Whenever alternatives to God is in view, God reacts. The legs of man represents self help while the strength of the horse is added help, speed and agility. These are the alternatives that many depend on for help. We either trust on ourselves or on an extra hand for help. The other end is those that believe that God will do it. They do nothing, they expect God to do everything. Any opinion that makes God solely responsible for the help of man is irresponsible. There is need for a balanced approach or meeting point of these extreme positions. God is the eternal helper of man, his word strengthens us to do great things.

“Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:”Isaiah 45:1-2.

The help of God strengthens your hand to do what is impossible with man and horse put together. The anointing is God’s help for extraordinary accomplishment. While the anointing is from God, the hand that works is yours. The anointing gives man the responsibility to do the unusual. Cyrus is anointed, nation subdued, kings challenged & changed. Restrictions destroyed, breakthroughs the norm. Help is partnership with God, to do the impossible. The strength of a horse is nothing when the anointing of God is active. Another Cyrus is born, by the spirit of God; that is the help of his hand. The holy spirit is responsible help, you are empowered for exploits.

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”Acts 1:8.

Flesh versus Spirit.

He delighteth not in the strength of the horse:he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem;praise thy God, O Zion. Psalms 147:10-12.

Life is not a game of chance, but that is how many live daily. Trying to do everything by themselves, making the most, trying their best. The help they know is the legs of man and the strength of the horse. They trust in themselves and the systems around them. These could serve as alternatives to God; the creature rather than the creator. The fear of God is replaced in their consciousness. Who is helping you? The creator or the created? The hand of men or God? These are not question you want to be asked. No hand can be lifted in help to you without the creator at work. This is the disappointment of those that delight is the created & deride their creator. God reacts when men revere his works and disconnect from him. The created things should connect us more to the creator.

“Now the Egyptians are men, and not God;and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.”Isaiah 31:3.

The wisdom of this world rides on the legs of man and the strength of the horse. Flesh cannot compare with spirit for help. The arm of flesh fail when the spirit of God is at work. The amazing part of the story is that the help and the helper fail together. Check who is helping you, it gives an inkling of your situation. Why rise to fall when you can rise and rise again. You will no longer rise and fall with your helper beside you.

Let God help you! It sure help, it doesn’t hurt. It’s flesh versus spirit and your time starts now.

“For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” 1 Corinthians 1:19-21.

From strength to strength.

When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me?hope thou in God:for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. Psalms 42:4-5.

Where God is present, his hand is present; help is also present. Multitudes present themselves to worship, everyone is not in touch with him. Worship service centers abound in town, those that connect collect his help. Those that keep a holyday are happy but joy & praise is for worshippers. Help is always available in his presence; joy is the sauce of the saved. His presence is the service station of the redeemed, Help is the health of the countenance of many. Fear makes sad, dissaoppointment grants gloomy faces. Joy is the assurance that the helper is always present. His presence is the recharge station and our ever present help. Joy is a prerequisite to obtaining help in his presence.

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”Isaiah 12:2-3.

God has not outsourced the ministry of helps to another. In Zion, the wells of salvation abound with abundant supply. There is more than enough help for all that come to service in Zion. The number has not overwhelmed the helper, the connection guarantees you are helped. Joy is a ticket, an invitation to his help; it is also a tonic provided in Zion. As we meet with multitude that come to Zion never miss the help of his hand. When help clicks, the countenance changes. Those that cannot be helped from Zion, remain ever helpless. There is no help too big for his hand, no number too great for this service. One helper for all helps, one place for every help. Those that drink from the wells in Zion go from strength to strength.

“They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.”Psalms 84:7.

Help is present in his presence.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee:be not dismayed; for I am thy God:I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.Isaiah 41:10

Who is it that deserves the help of God? What is the qualification to be helped? These are questions begging for answers. Why are some helped and others not helped of God? God’s presence is the guarantee for his helps. Those that are helped dwell in his presence. Those that dwell in his presence are rewarded with the help of his hands. Just like a son that is loved of his father always has the best. Help is free, but the covenant relationship is the platform for its release. God is impartial, but favourably disposed to his children. Those that serve the lord are reserved for strange helps of his hand. Walking with God gives access to his hand; instructions and direction. That is the help of God, one of the presents in his presence.

“For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell;neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”Psalms 16:10-11.

Those that know the way to go end up in hell and corruption. Hell is literally a place of helplessness; an end to every help. Corruption is a place where nothing works. The help of God is the hope of man to miss a life of hell & corruption. By his hand, miss the highways of hell and the flight of corruption. The path of life is the heritage of those that dwell in his presence. They have direction and instruction to their destination. Joy is a tonic that is reserved for partakers of his table, not sorrow. The right paths are shown by his right hand of righteousness. Never miss your way again! Regret and sighing is past. Help is ever present in his presence but for the redeemed. His presence is the heritage of the redeemed, their helper is always on duty.

“Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.”Isaiah 51:11.

The hand of God.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee:be not dismayed; for I am thy God:I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.Isaiah 41:10

Help is obtaining an extra hand, a better hand. A good hand is key to going forward, a greater hand is the ticket to greatness. Every one that is cumbered with something bigger needs a helping hand. Imagine God being that hand, then you are in good hands. Helplessness is lack of help from God. Alternative hands maybe the cause of the breakdown experience. The blessed are never helpless nor hopeless; their helper is strong. They are never in need of aid or support to survive; the helper is with them. Alternatives are enemies of the best that only God can supply.

“He delighteth not in the strength of the horse:he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem;praise thy God, O Zion.” Psalms 147:10-12.

Disappointment is constant with the help of man, no wonder the fear. The help of God is sure, free from disappointment, shame or dismay. Instead of the fear of disappointment, fear God. His word is clear; I will help you & I will strengthen you, an open cheque. The help of God does not weaken the helped but strengthens for more exploits. The help of his hand makes high fliers of men. The reason for being stranded is that help has been asked of everyone but God. Subscribe today to the covenant help for a beautiful life. Everyone that maintains God’s presence obtains help without measure. The hand of God manifests in every area of your life. The hand of God is help from God ; guaranteed help & strength.

“Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:” Isaiah 45:1-2.

Look! Help is here.

And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Acts 3:2-5
Begging is an industry in some locations. Swarms of person obtain their livelihood from it.If you are to have a census of beggars in some states, it will be more than the working population. The temple was a choice place then, even now.

A man born lame, carried about by another begging at the temple gate. His productivity determines his upkeep and wellbeing. His situation was an opportunity to generate some income. Asking help of worshippers, but not from the God that dwells in the temple. This is another situation of one asking for the wrong things.
A beautiful gate, a temple entrance & restricted access by status. Peter and John were no regular passersby, the helper is within them. They gave help he never asked for; he got more for the bargain.
He needed what money cannot buy; help that is not for sale.
“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee:In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up:and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.” Acts 3:6-8
The helper within offers a beautiful life, a look and a call is all it takes. Silver and gold last for a while but strength and vitality is by his help. Those that look on the lord obtain the help they deserve. The help of God beautifies the life of men. Jesus is the helper, his name is the password to heavenly helps. From being by the gate excluded, he made inroad into the temple.
Your breakthrough is not by begging but by the help of God. Your ankles receive strength, overcome stagnation to a beautiful life. Help turn beggars to worshippers; make progress, break boundaries.
It’s your turn for a turnaround in the name of Jesus.  Obtain help that money cannot buy.
That is the help deserved for those that look up on the helper within.
“They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.”Psalms 34:5-6.

Leave begging behind.

And they came to Jericho:and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Mark 10:46-47.

Beggars ask for help from everybody, expecting to receive from somebody. This profession is subscribed to by many, in small or large scale. The highway side is a popular location for many beggars.

Nothing is too small, at all, at all, na em bad pass! When Jesus was passing by, Bartimaeus saw opportunity coming.  To ask and receive from one that has everything in abundance. A cry for mercy, attracted the masters attention. The covenant connection was established as the son of David was called. May you understand the time of your visitation. He asked alms of all, but asked for mercy from Jesus; he lacked no more. Grace gave him a blank cheque; the lord desired specifics of him. From begging from men he asked of God and got a change of story. Those that obtain help from God cease to beg from men. Blindness ended in a moment, begging ceased, a celebrity was born.

“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”Hebrews 4:14,16.

Every encounter with the lord Jesus grants a change of story. Zion is the depot of mercy and the throne of grace. It is not for spectators, it’s exclusive for covenant partners. Bartimaeus left begging behind to become a celebrity with a testimony to show.  The covenant platform turn around destinies today by the same Jesus. Grace and mercy are covenant forces for a change of story. Beggars live without guarantees; covenant living is guaranteed. Mercy attract attention but grace changes situation.

Mercy is for the asking, a cry for help to the son of David.

Just like Bartimaeus, become an amazement to yourself. Leave begging behind. Your cry for help is heard, mercy comes to you.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee:be not dismayed; for I am thy God:I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”Isaiah 41:10.

The helper within.

The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool:but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. John 5:7-8.

Help is a relative term, many in need of help do not know what they need. They need help to know what they need.  Even when help comes, they cannot recognize their helper. The man sick of palsy at the pool is a typical example. The help he desired was from someone, possibly family and friends. The hands of man is limited help, the hands of God grants unlimited help. This man needed healing, to be well & whole again. Bitterness and complaining robbed him of these for 38 years. The coming of the Angel was sure, the water shall be turned. He looked for the turning to have his turn, when the healer came, he was still waiting for his turn. He was fixated on the water and the angel, not the healer.

Your helper is within not without; ask, knock and seek help of the lord.

“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”Hebrews 4:14,16.

Grace and mercy are available and overwhelms all your needs.  Grace is specific, mercy fixes particular needs; given generously in advance. None shall miss the helper and the helps that come with him. The lord is your helper; Covenant help is his franchise. The cry of mercy is never denied. God is all you need to have all your needs met. Grace and mercy is all you require to need no more. It is never in short supply. This is the help of God for your greatness in life. This is the connection to endless help from above. Accelerate, increase, multiply; become the first among the best, by his help. Grace and mercy are available for you and your helper is in you.

Strange helps await you at every junction of your life.

“Through the tender mercy of our God;whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”Luke 1:78-79.
