LIGHT BEARERS

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Isaiah 60:1-3.

Light is not common, darkness is common.  There is no denying when light comes, darkness cannot stand the presence of light.
Darkness is the norm in many lives, light needs to be  introduced. The earth is in darkness, the people are in gross darkness. Darkness is not just an event, is a divine programme at work. Light is not just an emotional experience but termination of the effect of darkness.
Every light bearer becomes a pacesetter and trail blazer in life. Light is the key to distinction in life; a shining life. The light of  Christ make men rise from the ground to the top. It makes them attractive for the rulers and kings to come to their brightness.
While darkness is general, light is personal and gives personal effect.

“The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.” Matthew 4:16.

The light is your ticket to distinction in a world of darkness. From the light that Saul saw, his name was changed to Paul the apostle and a light bearer Light always changes people and things to reflect the light they receive.
The light of Christ is the only way out of darkness with its effect. When the light comes, you shine effortlessly, stop bemoaning darkness, get the light.
Personal light is the product of personal responsibility to escape the general darkness in the land. It’s your turn to shine, get light and become a light bearer. Become attractive, highly sought after by kings and the Gentiles, a shining star. Like Daniel, become the darling of kings by light.

“Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:” Daniel 2:19-20.

Prayer: My father, the light of your son illuminates us and makes us light bearers in life. Thank you for a radiant and shining life in darkness that makes us the darling of kings in Jesus name.

I SEE THE LIGHT.

Let them alone:they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?Matthew 15:14-16.

There is a common maxim that in the world of the blind, a partially sighted man is king.
Who is leading you? Can he see clearly? This question becomes pertinent in a world of many pretenders. Many have ended in a ditch situation while trusting their guide.
Why should you rely on the opinion of another for perception? Many persons have allowed themselves to be guided by blind leaders and subjected to many woes.
Light is an essential ingredient for sight and eyes are needed for light reception and sight perception.
Relying on another’s perception or insight is worse than being blind or in the dark.

“Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” Luke 1:78-79.

Jesus offers  light to those that are in darkness and direction for the confused. Blindness is the absence of light of life from. Christ. The mercy of God delivers those that be stranded by blindness. Do one illumination is the way out of every form of blindness. Stop managing blindness, light is the eternal cure for man’s blindness.

The light of Christ changes both your position and portion. From being subservient and dependent on men you are transformed to be obedient to God. The blind beg and rely on others for life but Christ open your eyes and gives the light of life to those that ask him.

This great light terminates begging, borrowing and makes you a pacesetter.# This great light is for your great life; I see the light.
Get set for life under the light. There’s nothing compared to this life.

“The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.” Matthew 4:16.

Prayer: Dear father of light, thank you for the gift of light and deliverance from blind guides. May your light that gives  life never be in short supply in my life in jesus name.

LET THERE BE LIGHT.

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. Matthew 4:16.

In darkness, everything and everyone is at a stand still or at best stranded. The eyes have limited use in darkness; vision and direction are impaired.  What was done in the dark is always a source of shame in the light.

Intelligence, expertise and learning are traded in darkness for survival. Darkness constrains imagination and obscures creativity.
Why should anyone talk about the future when unsure of surviving the present? There is no writing or reading in darkness; everything and everyone waits for the end. How should I think on the prophetic when the end is ever present?

One of the hard punishment prescribed for prisoners is to put them in seclusion and in darkness. The longer they stay in the dark, everything about them changes. The light hurts the eyes when they are released from such circumstances. This is the pattern and lifestyle of many who are in darkness. The light of life terminates darkness both temporal and eternal.

“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:3-5.

Darkness has no defense from the light. Light terminates darkness. Light is the creative power of God, light is the beginning of life. In darkness everything waits, wastes, decays and dies, it is the path of death.
Light is the always the first expression of the presence of God. Darkness has no choice but to flee in the presence of light. Not only does darkness flee but with all it’s works and  effect on life. Whatsoever has been damaged in darkness is repaired in the light. Things that are destroyed are created, what is lost is replaced.

The light of God therefore is the instrument of restoration and recreation.Darkness has limited time lines, light has eternal effect and influence.
It’s your turn to leave darkness behind, let there be light.

“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6.

Prayer:  Great father of lights, thank You for commanding light out of darkness. Whatever was damaged in darkness is repaired in the light and that destroyed is recreated. Thank you for giving us your light to shine in life in Jesus name.

GREAT LIGHT FOR GREAT LIFE.

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. Matthew 4:16.

Light is the eternal cure for darkness and the spring of life. In darkness blindness is not appreciated until the light comes on. The effect of light is immediate and instant to dissolve darkness and blindness.

One of the lighted persons in scriptures is apostle Paul the apostle. This was also the one know as Saul the persecutor of the church until his light encounter. It is difficult to call someone of Saul’s status blind and in the dark at that time.A well educated lawyer, connected to the ruling class and  on the front row promoting the cause Judaism. He was abreast spiritually belonging to the esteemed Pharisee sect; a believer in the resurrection.
Having an encounter with light brighter than the sun and hearing Jesus personally was an unexpected experience.

“At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.” Acts 26:13-15.

Darkness lacks ethnicity and blindness not restricted by religious status.
The light of Christ is brighter than the light from the sun in intensity. Jesus is the light of life, the revelation of him gives light and illuminates lives. The light from heaven reveals the word of God to you. The same light shines from the pages of scriptures into the life of believers daily. The word of God enlightens our life and brightens our path.

Paul not only obtained light but was delivered from darkness. He is also given the task to enlighten the Gentiles and all men. Those that receive the light also give light and become bright.

This is light for life that terminates darkness and the power of Satan. The same light open your eyes to see and be distinguished in life. The light of Christ is the believers winning key in the race of life.

Those that see this great light live a great life. Welcome to greatness!

“Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”Acts 26:17-18.

Prayer: Dear father of lights, thank you for the light of your son Jesus Christ that comes into us to illuminate our lives. Thank you for opening our eyes by the same light and dissolving the power of Satan by light. Darkness is dissolved, light has come and we see and perceive. Thank you for the great life delivered by your great light in Jesus name.

LIGHT OF LIFE; NO TUMBLE NOR STUMBLE

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world:he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true. John 8:12-13.

Light is a necessity for life, whether it’s light from the son or from the sun. Light determines the seasons of life on earth. Jesus is the light of the world and he gives the light of life. The sun is a necessity for human existence, the light of Christ is for life; temporal and eternal.
While all is offered freely light from the sun, the light of Christ requires subscription. The light of life is the cure for the pervasive darkness in the world. Many have confused the light from the sun with the light of life.
Some may wonder at the need for another source of light which is Christ.
The manifestation of light from the sun is limited, the light of Christ opens the door to extraordinary living.

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people:
but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3.

Darkness is so common that many have accepted it as normal lifestyle. The difference between night and day is sunlight, but the distinction between confusion and vision is the light of Christ. The light of Christ reveals the picture of your future from the pages of scriptures.
No one ever stumbles on what he can see. Stumbling in life is the proof of darkness. Also failure, falling and fooling around are the tell-tale it’s signs. Direction is the evidence of light from the son, the light of life.
Those that have the light rise in life never to fall again. They keep rising not just once and for all but continuous rising from glory to glory. When light comes, rising is sure but that is the light of life.

No more rising and falling, light is the key to continuous rising in life.

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.” Proverbs 4:18-19.

Prayer: My father, thank you for the gift of light of life in your son Jesus Christ. His light is my eternal right to life. My paths are shining more and mores have no occasion for stumbling this year in Jesus name.

I SEE! WRITE THE VISION

Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen:for I will hasten my word to perform it. And the word of the Lord came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north. Jeremiah 1:11-13.

I recently had to take an eye test, I wanted to assess what I could see. You know the drill, a lighted box with letters and numbers were placed before me and asked to read with one eye while the other is closed. After that ritual, I was given a book with phrases written in decreasing font. Then one test and another test, and on and on…..hmm. So can you see? Yes I can, read this phrase? I am the light of the world…….
What can you seen for the new year from the word of God. The word of the Lord came unto ……….(put your name) saying, what seest thou?
Are you seeing anything? The word of the Lord has not come to you.
Are you willing to wait on the word of God until he comes to you?

That is the moment when scriptures come alive and your life is illuminated from the pages of the book.
Some call it “a catch up moment” in the word of God. Habakkuk noted the experience.

” I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,
that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time,
but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:1-3.

So did you get to see anything from the word of God concerning the new year?
Habakkuk had a convenient process that leads to divine illumination. It starts with finding a good place to be alone with God; he called it a tower. Studying the word of God for instructions, armed with writing materials.

Some persons have prepared themselves to hear from men and take notes more than hearing from God. Habakkuk was a good student in God’s classroom, he never lacked a word from him. As he heard, he wrote. As he waited on the word of God, the word of God came to him.

Visions are delivered when the word of God is revealed in pictures and sounds with definite instructions.
Make the word your life; sound and pictures are give to you, please write them down.
You can’t miss it, when the word of the Lord comes to you; write the vision.

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalms 16:11.

Prayer: father, your word comes alive when the Holy Spirit illuminates our heart from the word of God. Grace to hear, see and write the vision receive today as you keep showing the path of life in Jesus name.

WHAT CAN YOU SEE?

And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up:and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. Mark 8:23-25

“The greatest tragedy, is the presence of eyes without sight” says a wise man.
Never assume that everyone whose eyes is open can see. When the eyes is closed, one can reasonably assume lack of sight. But the real proof of sight is to describe what is seen

Okay, tell me your vision direction for 2018? Eh m! hmm! Working on it.
The man in the verse was healed of blindness, it’s assumed that everything was blank or dark before the healing experience. When he saw, he lacked the distinction between men and trees hence the need for a second touch.
So what can you see? This man left Jesus seeing clearly.

Sight and vision sound alike and come as pictures but have different source. Vision is the picture of the future from the pages of scriptures. The scriptures give light to see clearly what the new year has for you. Jesus is ever willing to heal the eyes and correct you sight and also your vision.

“Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen:for I will hasten my word to perform it. And the word of the Lord came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.”Jeremiah 1:11-13.

Vision is not by trial and error, twice seen by Jeremiah and correctly discerned on both account. The first look is always the best look!
The man that Jesus healed saw not clearly at first needing a second touch.

Jeremiah saw clearly both the first and second time; you shall see clearly!

For those that mock the visions of God and disdain the prophetic, every word from God is prophetic. It opens your eyes to see pictures from scriptures. What can you see in 2018?
What you see correctly from the word of God is hastened for performance. Until you see it from the word of God, you can’t see it in life; wait for it. Wait on the word, and the word of God will come to you.

You will see and eat of the good of the land in this new year.

Prayer: Father thank you for restoration of sight and vision from the pages of scriptures. Hat eyes have not seen nor ears heard shall be the rider of the day in my life in Jesus name.

CAN YOU SEE?

And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days:but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. Exodus 10:22-23.

The requirements for sight is possession of eyes and presence of light. In darkness, everyone is officially blind; I can’t see a thing!
Light is the universal necessity for sight, vision and direction. No matter how good your sight is, darkness obscures vision & direction. No matter how great your intellect or knowledge, without light, you’re learning is useless.

That was the situation in Egypt when the plague of darkness was unleashed. Everything and everyone was stranded even with their sophistication. The same is happening today, those expected to be wise become fools in the face of darkness. Foolishness becomes a virtue in darkness. There is no distinction nor discernment in darkness.

Can you see? What can you see?
The year is blank without the light from the son of God.

“Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” Luke 1:78-79.

Illumination is the si-ne qua non to vision and perception. In darkness we all look but not see; when you can’t see what God has for this year, you’re legally blind.

The day star is key to seeing eyes; it’s always day when the day star arises. Darkness is the curse and cause of blindness, the day star is the blessing of light converting your looking to seeing eyes by encounter with the day star.
Everyday becomes a great day when the day star arises in your heart. You’re not blind my friend, it’s just that the light from the son is unavailable.to you. Jeremiah began to see when light from the word of God came to him.

And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.” Jeremiah 1:11-13.
Prayer; My father, thank you for giving me a new year experience. The visIon and direction is also your gift. May light from your word illuminate my heart to you plans and purposes for the new year. I receive visIon & directions from your word today in Jesus name.

JESUS, SON OF DAVID.

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah. Psalms 89:34-37.

The Bible is the book of covenants, Jesus is the fulfillment of all the covenants in the book. His birth was spoken of by the prophets of old, and those alive at his birth confirmed the same prophecies. The angels were joyfully elated at the fulfillment of the prophecies at his birth.

The establishment of the throne of David was one of the covenants confirmed at his birth. The promise was that David will never lack a king on his throne for ever. Jesus is the son of David biologically and spiritually; the fulfillment of prophecies. The sun and moon were witnesses of the accomplishment of what was spoken.

What was spoken by the prophets was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

“But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife:for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus:for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,” Matthew 1:20-22.

Someone may wonder what it means to be the son of David?

The king that gave Israel a nation and the star of David which is the symbol of the same. A covenant that has been fulfilled, a saviour and a king born after the same order. Jesus is his name, Christ his title, messiah is also its interpretation. What the whole world has been eagerly waiting for is accomplished in him. The connection between heaven and earth is established in him. He rules and reigns both in heaven and the earth on the throne of David. His name is greater than every name; the root and offspring of David. His name is the license to signs and wonders unlimited.

He is the king, the governor, the prophet, priest and almighty God; all in one. The government is upon his shoulder, wonderful, counselor, prince of peace. And I am connected to the root of David.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6.

Prayer: father, I am delighted at the gift of your son Jesus Christ as the son of David biologically and spiritually. Dominion, wisdom and honour is once again restored. Thank you for the government on his shoulders and I am connected in Jesus name.
