Green Pastures Today

Called for distinction.

And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. Acts 7:22.

For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents:but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. Exodus 7:12.

Wisdom or foolishness cannot be understood without experience.

The chosen ones are not exempt from learning, they have discovered the difference. The wisdom of the world is subject to learning but not so with God’s wisdom. God’s wisdom is the end of the wisdom of the world and Egypt. The chosen are given the wisdom of God for distinction in the world.

Sorcery, magic, medicine, law, banking, politics are learned.

I am Moses learned in all the wisdom of Egypt; a qualified practitioner. The wisdom of this world is common, sensual and possessed by many. His learning was not his distinction but his encounter with God’s wisdom.

Casting down a rod to a serpent was common, the superior rod ate up others. The wisdom of God swallows up the wisdom of this world for your distinction. The world is too fickle to compare with God’s chosen, no wonder it falls like a pack of cards in comparison. This is the best proof that the fallen is being replaced by his calling. Chosen, your qualification and called for distinction.

Moses would have remained an Egyptian champion without this encounter. Encounter with the God of all wisdom gives an edge in life. In the contest of life the wisdom of this world fails, as the wisdom of God reigns. Moses was mighty in words and deed by God’s wisdom. The wisdom of God is not a product of learning; it is an encounter with a person. It is given in Christ.

Christ is the wisdom and power of God to live the chosen lifestyle. Just like Moses, the superior wisdom & power shows up in every area of life.  It is not learned, it is given in Christ for life distinction.

The wisdom of this world will no longer be your distraction; you are called for distinction by God’s wisdom and power.

“But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”1 Corinthians 1:24.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”1 Peter 2:9

He chose me.

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. 1 Corinthians 1:27-29.

The kingdom of God operates by its own set of values.

It is at variance with the rules of the world where the best gets the job. The best of the world cannot compare with the least of God. God is not looking for the best, wisest and mighty, the world is substandard. Kingdom entrance is open to all but accessed by few. The choice is God’s, choosing the willing. The seemingly qualified by the world standard are not chosen. Even when they are called, they may not hear; too busy with the world.

What qualifies the chosen ones? I don’t know, maybe they heard the call.

The qualified choose themselves, but not in God. He calls, those that hear, are chosen.

Being unqualified by the world’s standard is not your disqualification. Your maker knows your heart. Chosen is God’s signature on the redeemed. His call qualifies the chosen, nothing more, nothing less. You too can be chosen by him and blessed. How foolish can you be? How weak are you? Can you help yourself? Can you elevate the invisible above the obvious?

Believing Christ Jesus as lord is the highest level of foolishness. That is the first step to the election of grace. Salvation is a gift, not an achievement or endowment. I am chosen of God, I really don’t know why; it’s the highest call Being chosen makes all the difference and the turnarounds begin.

Very soon the only signature of your life will be Chosen and blessed of God. Chosen is God’s signature for becoming a masterpiece in life. Jesus is God’s foolishness for a fulfilled life and eternity.

He chose……………me. It’s never too late to be chosen.

“But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”1 Corinthians 1:23-24.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”Ephesians 2:8-9.

Your word has come

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. Psalms 33:6.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1.

Every product has a label with the manufacturer addres on it. Where the product is made affects its outlook.

There was a time that Taiwan and China was the emblem of substandard products. We may not be able to say the same today. Your quality is determined by your maker.

While we are all made from the same raw materials, we do not have the same quality of life. The good life has quality and quantity.

Life is recieved, not achieved; Life is recieved, not produced.

Your maker provides the basics but the glorious life is recieved by choice. The highest life is one that death has no power over; everlasting life. Common life ends in death, we are thankful for it, but there is more.

Fools live for retirement, kings live eternaly.

Earthly life ends in the dust, heavenly life has no end.

Where are you made? London England, New York  USA, Gwanzhou China or Mexico City Mexico; its okay.

Life abundant is made in heaven, not in Harlem; which life do you have? That determines the quality and quantity of life.

God’s word is life, gives life, new life.

The word for your creation was with God, that for your recreation is in Christ.

Your word has come; connect and collect eternal life.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”John 1:14.
