MUCH ADO ABOUT KEYS

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona:for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven:and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:17-19.

One may wonder, what’s this much ado about doors and another would answer, why do you have them in your home. It’s imperative that if your house have keys and doors so also the kingdom of heaven. The keys obviously are not for use in heaven but on the earth.

Another pertinent question would be what is a doors and the answer is simple, the communication between two areas of the house. The house is the kingdom of God, the keys give access to inner aspects of the house. Just like in any house, everyone does not have access to some parts of the house except residents. Keys are necessities, doors are essential and access is for those with keys.

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works:behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it:for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” Revelation 3:7-8.

One thing is sure, the keys give access to the inner aspects of the house and the treasures therein. Doors give access to higher levels, greater and intimate access to kingdom treasures. The keys also grant more responsibilities and opportunities in the kingdom.

Kings and priests are not mere titles but kingdom responsibilities and opportunities for service until the change of status occurs, the keys are not in view. Keys are obtained by more revelation of Christ Jesus the lord of the house. The primary revelation of Christ Jesus as saviour gives access to salvation. The greater and continued revelation of the anointed one and his anointing grant keys of the kingdom.

 It’s your turn to reign in life with the keys of the kingdom.

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders:and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Revelation 5:10-12.

Prayer

Dear father I am amazed at the wonders that you have prepared for me beyond salvation by the keys of the kingdom. The keys ensure that I am not stranded in my kingdom walk. I am made kings and priests to reign by the keys of the kingdom through Christ Jesus.

Custodian of Kingdom Keys

 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: Galatians 4:1-3.

When the concept of kingdom keys is before us, kings and priest are the custodians not children or sons. Many become offended but for very good reasons; they’re children hence under tutors and governors. Anything of value in the kingdom is reserved for the matured, so also the keys of the kingdom.

There is hierarchy in the kingdom even as the door of salvation is open to all. It admits everyone to the level of children irrespective of secular status or chronological age. From the childhood level, sons emerge with maturity and then kings and priests unto God. The kings and priests are in command of the keys of the kingdom.

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders:and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Revelation 5:10-12.

Sons are born but kings and priests are made by revelation of redemption. Things of great value are not given to children both in the natural and spiritual. The kingdom keys give access to great treasures like power and riches, and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing. This is the power of the world to come being used in the present world.

The keys are not available to all but for personal use to unlock the doors to lives and destinies of men. There is no king without a kingdom, neither a priest without a temple and congregation. So also the kings and priests use the keys to the service of God and his people. The keys of the kingdom are service keys for kingdom virtues. The priests and kings are anointed with keys for their reign in life.

We are not kings or priests but kings and priests; custodians of kingdom keys.

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works:behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it:for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” Revelation 3:7-8.

Prayer 

Dear father, I am delighted to see that the keys of the kingdom are for kings and priests not for sons. Maturity is what measure the keys to be assessed; kings and priests are custodians. Kings and priests are made by revelation of the same Christ Jesus my lord.

HEAVEN ON EARTH

After this manner therefore pray ye:Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9-10.

One of the first prayers that many learnt to recite is the lord’s prayer. It’s a model of prayer that has been taught and learnt by many generations of Christians and non Christians alike. It is recited so many times a day and several places at a time that some have termed it the most popular prayer of all times.

The verse that reads”Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” is of interest. It’s obvious that the kingdom of God has come since the baptism of Jesus at Jordan with the king annointed. Matthew 11:12. It marks the end of the old and beginning of the new testament.

Someone may ask further, what is the proof of the kingdom of God and the answer is simple; the keys of the kingdom.

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:and we shall reign on the earth. While the kingdom of heaven is a specified geographical location, the kingdom of God is the life, nature and ability; God’s way of living. The prayer that was and is being recited has been answered. The use of the keys of the kingdom of God brings down heaven on earth. The will of God in heaven is done on earth by those that have the keys of the kingdom of God.

The kingdom keys are reigning keys on the earth by the redeemed. The keys of the kingdom are operational tools for unusual results in life. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, the keys of the kingdom brings heaven’s ideas, principles, and system to bear on earth. It’s your turn to reign in life by the kingdom keys in your hand.

The kingdom has come! The keys are with you the redeemed for a heaven on earth experience.

Prayer 

Thank you father for the understanding that the keys of the kingdom is for a heaven on earth experience. I am redeemed to reign in life by the same keys in hand by the Jesus Christ my saviour.

WISDOM KEY FOR FREE

And he spake three thousand proverbs:and his songs were a thousand and five. And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall:he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes. And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom. 1 Kings 4:32-34.

Wisdom is beautiful! wisdom is attractive! It’s the key for a life of distinction. A little peek into the certificates or trophy room of Solomon show an array of accomplishments. The book of proverbs, the songs, the temple, the people and much more were the mighty works of the wisdom of Solomon.

Results bring insults to an end and leave no one in doubt of the wisdom of Solomon. His wisdom brought fame, fortune, glamour, glory and prosperity to the nation. So much was the wisdom given to one man, how much more connecting to the source. The source is introduced as the greater than Solomon, Christ Jesus my Lord.

“And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore. And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol:and his fame was in all nations round about.”1 Kings 4:29-31.

It’s amazing to know that the wisdom of Solomon is a title of the wisdom of God available in Christ Jesus, the greater than Solomon. It’s much more exciting to learn that the price of wisdom is redemption.

Every wisdom with a fee is fake, the greater than Solomon wisdom is free. Great doors have ordinary keys, great works are byproducts of the wisdom of God. Solomon sought not fame nor glory but for wisdom which is free. The same wisdom made him the richest, the greatest and the brightest among his contemporaries.

Wisdom is for the thirsty, knowledge for the hungry; nothing more, nothing less. The key of wisdom grants unlimited access to God’s class or order of results.

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.”Isaiah 55:1-2.

Prayer:

Dear father,thank you for the wisdom key that is from above, available in Christ, greater than Solomon’s, accessible by redemption. Free is not cheap, the results are undeniable and the effect undisputable by Christ Jesus.

CERTIFICATE OF FOOLISHNESS

Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:5-7.

One of the things noticeable in the office space or study of learned persons are plaques of qualifications, awards and rewards. They’re well arranged sometimes that you can’t but admire the display of these trophies. A closer look at the certificates and awards are instructive and noteworthy. Certificate of participation, attendance, completion, registration and the like. A little quiz of the recipient would show that most of what was learnt has been forgotten.

In some professional settings, the certification is not lifelong, there’s a timeline for renewal because of knowledge decay. Knowledge fades but wisdom stays; many have mistaken knowledge for wisdom to their own peril. Knowledge is acquired from books, wisdom is from knowledge practice.

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:and we shall reign on the earth. It may be surprising to know that many with valid certificates on the shelf have never practiced what they learnt. A friend of mine calls them “Certificate of foolishness” The world does not respect certificates but “sabificates” people that practice what they have learnt.

Kingdom keys given at redemption are lost because of disuse and ignorance. A certificate is not a competence guarantor, kingdom keys unused are lost. Redemption is for distinction in life to those that trade with kingdom keys. 

Wisdom is the profitable use of knowledge or else foolishness is celebrated. The knowledge of Christ Jesus is Wisdom; foolishness is the opposite. 

“But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”1 Corinthians 1:23-25.

Prayer: 

Dear father, I take hold of Christ Jesus the wisdom and power of God to be free form the certificate of foolishness. Your wisdom makes all the difference to knowledge, information and excellence through the same Christ Jesus.

KINGDOM BANQUET

Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad:for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. 1 Kings 3:9-10.

Almost ten years ago, I was one of thirty two Nigerians that went to Egypt for a particular training and competence. It happened that I was the youngest and most inexperienced and amongst us were five professors in the field. I was also barely able to afford the fees as I was paying out of pocket and most on the team were sponsored by their institutions.

After the brief time of sojourn in Egypt, most persons had more bags on the return trip instead my heart was full of action plans and next steps. Today I have become the reference and resource for that skill and competence and regularly hold similar training nationally and regionally. Just like King Solomon, I asked for one thing and was given more than I bargained for.

Education is not the gateway to wisdom, certificates are not proof of competence nor evidence of knowledge.

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders:and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Revelation 5:10-12.

There is much more to salvation than assurance of eternal life. On the table is served a seven course meal that ensures your total nourishment for accomplishment from salvation to eternity. 

Solomon asked for wisdom, it was just one of several in the package, God gave him much more than he asked for. Riches, power, honour and glory were also added to his package for asking for the principal key.

Salvation grants access to the banquet, what you pick and eat is your portion. Solomon did not recover from that encounter, nor will you recover from the encounter at the kingdom banquet prepared for you. Wisdom is not from books or which did Solomon read? It’s a gift just like all that is served on the kingdom banquet.

Prayer :

Thank you father for providing the feast of fat things in the sevenfold redemption package to eat in and take away. What has been prepared is mine to feast on. I will never leave wisdom behind in the kingdom banquet in Jesus name.

This is the Wisdom of God

Every door has a key, every key opens a particular door. The doors open to anyone that has the right key, and access is granted. Great doors have simple keys, keys give access to great doors. Wisdom ensures that there is understanding of the right key that opens the desired door in life. Wisdom is the principal key that ensures that all the keys of the kingdom are known and used. Wisdom is one key that keep all other keys in use and not used up. These keys are not acquired but given by redemption, revealed not obtained by school attendance.

The wisdom of Solomon is a title of the wisdom and power of God bestowed on the saints by redemption. Understanding the keys of the kingdom make one outstanding in life.

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders:and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Revelation 5:10-12.

An understanding of the keys of the kingdom changes your status in life. Everyone that has the keys open great doors at will without stress. Wisdom and understanding makes it possible to open multiple doors at once. Wisdom is always announced by signs, wonders and mighty works.

Solomon became the cynosure of his world by the gift of wisdom. A greater than Solomon order of wisdom is in your hand to become the cynosure of all eyes in your generation.

Wonders and mighty works from kingdom keys becomes your trademark. Gain access to great doors by the kingdom keys; what eyes have not seen nor ears heard are your franchise from now on. From a wanderer,become a man wondered at; this is the wisdom of God.

“And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue:and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.”Mark 6:2-3.

Prayer:

I am delighted dear father to know that your wisdom is for my distinction in life.A greater than Solomon wisdom is manifest with greater mighty works and wonders. So let it be in Jesus name.

A greater than Solomon!

The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them:for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. Luke 11:31.

Whenever the subject of wisdom is mentioned, King Solomon is the reference personality. In contemporary society, the unit of wisdom would have been King Solomon. Things like one unit of King Solomon, ten units of King Solomon in wisdom would have been the standard.

The exploits of King Solomon were unusual, wisdom was personified in him also riches. The wisest one was also the richest one in scriptures. It’s insulting or rather demeaning to the Jews to hear Jesus exulting oneself higher than King Solomon. If King Solomon was great by wisdom, how glorious would be the greater than King Solomon?

Redemption is a new and higher order of living where Christ Jesus is the standard; the wisdom of king Solomon was a tittle of Christ Jesus the wisdom of God.

“For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”1 Corinthians 1:22-24.

The wisdom key is the stumbling block of some persons with the gospel. Many still measure greatness using King Solomon’s  order till now. A greater than Solomon is not just a slogan but true in words and in deeds.

Redemption is the deliverance from foolishness of the wold to the wisdom of God in Christ Jesus. The wisdom key made King Solomon the richest & most powerful in his time. The same key and much more is in Christ Jesus to make greater by the force of redemption.

Redemption is not for demotion but elevation of commoners to reign in life. Wisdom is key to knowing the doors to open and others to remain closed. Redemption is man’s access to kingdom keys, revelation activates the keys to reign in life. The wisdom of God is Christ Jesus, your ticket to reign in life; a greater than Solomon!

Prayer:

Thank you father for the revelation of your word in wisdom and in works. A greater than Solomon is the wisdom and power of God given by redemption. We have not received nothing less but much more through Jesus Christ the saviour and lord.

FOR KINGS AND PRIESTS ONLY

Life is a game of chance, a gambler might say- you loose and win some. This concept is believed by many but its veracity is only known by those that operate by them.

Living by chance has no chance in the kingdom of God but sure access. The kingdom is not a game of chance it’s the platform for the operation of sure keys. Those that have the keys gain access to the great treasures behind great doors. The more keys with you, the more doors open and the greater your portion.

There is a choice to gamble or to take the sure keys of redemption. There’s however one door that’s always open, it’s the door of salvation that leads to a maze with seven other doors with a sign boldly written” Use your access keys”.

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders:and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Revelation 5:10-12.

It’s important to know that the keys are not for sons but for kings and priests. Sonship is the gift of redemption, kings are priests are sons separated and dedicated to kingdom service. The keys are for service not for keepers, strangers and gamblers.

The treasures behind the doors opened by kingdom keys are too great to be committed to just anybody and everybody. Many in their journey have gone through the door of salvation but not gained access to the better things prepared for them in redemption. Just like Aaron and his sons were consecrated to the office of the priests and David annointed to be king, so also you.

Good is not enough! There are better things accompanying salvation,but they’re behind the doors.  Preparation and consecration to the order of priests and kings grant the keys of the kingdom.

“But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.”Hebrews 6:9.

Prayer 

Thank you dear father for the keys of the kingdom that give access to the better things prepared form the foundation of the world. It is not for gamble neither for sons without consecration but to the priests and kings of the kingdom. So be it mine in Jesus name.
