And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. Acts 7:22.
For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents:but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. Exodus 7:12.
Wisdom or foolishness cannot be understood without experience.
The chosen ones are not exempt from learning, they have discovered the difference. The wisdom of the world is subject to learning but not so with God’s wisdom. God’s wisdom is the end of the wisdom of the world and Egypt. The chosen are given the wisdom of God for distinction in the world.
Sorcery, magic, medicine, law, banking, politics are learned.
I am Moses learned in all the wisdom of Egypt; a qualified practitioner. The wisdom of this world is common, sensual and possessed by many. His learning was not his distinction but his encounter with God’s wisdom.
Casting down a rod to a serpent was common, the superior rod ate up others. The wisdom of God swallows up the wisdom of this world for your distinction. The world is too fickle to compare with God’s chosen, no wonder it falls like a pack of cards in comparison. This is the best proof that the fallen is being replaced by his calling. Chosen, your qualification and called for distinction.
Moses would have remained an Egyptian champion without this encounter. Encounter with the God of all wisdom gives an edge in life. In the contest of life the wisdom of this world fails, as the wisdom of God reigns. Moses was mighty in words and deed by God’s wisdom. The wisdom of God is not a product of learning; it is an encounter with a person. It is given in Christ.
Christ is the wisdom and power of God to live the chosen lifestyle. Just like Moses, the superior wisdom & power shows up in every area of life. It is not learned, it is given in Christ for life distinction.
The wisdom of this world will no longer be your distraction; you are called for distinction by God’s wisdom and power.
“But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”1 Corinthians 1:24.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”1 Peter 2:9
