Construction zone, keep off!

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

One of the common sights around a construction site is a sign boards. The construction firm announces their presence with these signs. Most of them are safety signs while others are for direction and ease of acces. One of the signs that catches my fancy is the warning ” Construction zone!, slow down”

God is undertaking life construction by Jesus Christ, I am God’s workmanship. Predetermined, created, called, justified and glorified. Many share the opinion that creation is the conclusion of the work of God. It’s always highlighted by the rest that God took at the end of his work. I am glad to let you know that God is at work until recently.

I am one of the projects under construction, are you?

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called:and whom he called, them he also justified:and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”Romans 8:29-30.

Creation is not the conclusion but the continuation of God’s workmanship. So much work is still in progress, partnership with you is key to its execution. The plan, design and patterns may have been concluded but not yet in manifestation.

Life is a construction site, Jesus is the contractor, we are his workmanship. The call is enlistment into the program, design and plan to be under construction. It’s a submission not a subscription to be under construction. God is continuously working, Jesus is at work; get to work!

If there’s a sign that must be on everyone called for glorification, it would God’s construction site, keep off. Another sign would read, God at work, no delays and no deviations, no interference.

It’s time to get to work!

“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”John 5:17.

Prayer

Thank you father for your workmanship through Christ Jesus. I am under construction, your hand is at work in me. I submit my life to be your workplace in Jesus name.

God’s Workmanship

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.

I have this friend that defines words in uncanny ways. Masterpiece to him are two words put together; master and piece. God is the master who puts together the pieces of our life. The input maybe useless but the output is priceless; a masterpiece. The end product of creation is decoration for purposeful living. I am created for honour, shame is not my portion. Honour is the heritage of everyone created and born of God.

Purpose defines the worth, value and reason for living. We’re not entirely free moral agents or independents but interdependent on the maker to become a masterpiece or his workmanship. Every step of life adventure is regulated by divine encounter.

God’s workmanship is a process from foreknowledge, predestination, calling, justification to glorification. The masterpiece in all is manifested by all through this pattern.

It’s one step at a time, one level before the other.Every one called of God is destined to be glorified after being justified. What level of the process are you? Being called of God is the same as being born again.

The call of God is to release of glory and honour not shame and reproach. God does not begin the process to abort it midway, no more delays or deviations. I am God’s workmanship by Christ Jesus, destined for glory instead of shame.

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13.

Prayer

Dear father, I am grateful for your workmanship in me. I am created for glory  exclude from shame by your handiwork. I am called also to glory and virtue by the same Christ Jesus, my thanks know no bounds in Jesus name

CONCLUDED BEFORE CONCEPTION

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27

Purpose is defined by the creator not the created. There’s a lot of discourse about the subject in contemporary times. Identity is now debatable, nonentities are born; confusion is the norm. Identity is the creator’s responsibility, this is very fundamental.

This phrase made by a wise man summarizes this thought, “when the use of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable” The creator expresses his mind in his work, every work is an expression of himself. Sexuality is given, the creator defines purpose. The pages of scripture illuminates purpose and guide to their manifestation.

You have a custom made purpose; you’re born for this reason.

“Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:4-5.

The revelation is for your manifestation. The purpose is too precious to be forgotten, the word of God reveals it. Every encounter with the word of God leads to discovery of his intents and purpose. Identity is not assumed but revealed. It’s been concluded or determined before conception and creation.

The word of God reveals his will for you. His will is not hidden but holden in the page of scripture for discovery. We go to the word, we read the book, meditate on it but the word comes personally to us. A discovery of identity is the cure for living a nonentity.

Man remains just another entity until identity is revealed and lived.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

Prayer:

Dear God my father, open my eyes to see who I am  and what is my identiy. Being another entity is not good enough, reveal yourself to me in Jesus name.

Soil to Soul

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27

One of the amazing documentaries to watch is a car assembly plant. It documents how scraps are turned to car or truck. The process of building particular brand of cars is by routine and repeated steps. It’s a lot of work but at the end a finished product is churned out. Many think of creation in the same wise as a car assembly plant that mass produces the same brand and type of car.

Man is not mass produced, we are created individually and personally. His image and likeness is replicated in every being he created. From the dust his treasures are moulded but transformed to living souls by his breath.

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7.

The breath of God transforms a monument or moulded soil to a living soul. His image and likeness makes every man distinctive in every form. You’re created a masterpieces not a clone but a replica of divinity. His image and likeness is discovered through the voyage from the pages of scripture.

Copying what is already exists is a fake, discovering the image of God in you makes you a masterpiece. A fake cannot be better than the original no matter how you try. Become the person who you’re born to be. You’re not a copy but a replica of God’s image and likeness. Monuments may look alike but a masterpiece is the work of art; from the soil a living soul is born by his breath.

Prayer:

Dear father, it’s amazing to know that your breath has made me, your hand moulded me. I am not mass produced bit crafted to your image and likeness. Your breath is my life for life, so continually fill me up in Jesus name.

LIVING WITH MEANING

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7.

One of the common sights and sounds noticeable are the celebration of the creature rather than the creator. Every work of art is incomplete without the signature of the artist, so also a book without the author or a movie without the director. Shapes and curves on display, brands and models manifest with their author standing out conspicuously.

Man was moulded from dust or earth, a monument it was until the breath of life received. A monument is turned to a living soul by the breath of God. There would have been no difference between man and the sculptures or carvings around but the breath of God.

Living is for a reason, the purpose and plans transform a monument to living soul.

“Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:4-5.

Celebrating the creature without understanding of the purpose of the creator is purpose defeated. Those that know not their identity live like nonentities. The breath that made man a living soul also guides him through life with meaning. The breath is the connection between man and his creator.

Losing the connection to the creator leads to loss of meaning for living. His breath was not given once and for all but once and again. Renewal of breath connection maintains the masterpiece of creation. Monuments are static, masterpieces are dynamic persons that never miss their connection to their maker.

That is living with meaning.

Prayer:

Thank you father for making me a living soul not a monument. Your spirit is the energizer of destinies to accomplish the masterpiece agenda in life. Your connection is my access to living with meaning; this is my prayer in Jesus name

MASTERPIECE NOT A MONUMENT

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.

One of the common sights on transit through some big cities are monuments. Sculptures from many generations past, houses built several centuries ago, carvings, stone formations and the like. Some monuments are peculiar, artful, classic, out of this world; made by men.

Monuments are man made masterpiece, they require maintenance to keep standing. Some are weather beaten, decayed over time, a curator is assigned to maintain its beauty or restore its features.

God is a creator, not a curator; every one of God’s workmanship is a masterpiece not a monument. We’re not statues nor sculptors but living beings, dynamic individuals.

We’re not created as duplicates but patents of grace. The dynamic thoughts of God prepared at creation is revealed  at redemption. A statue is concluded at creation but our purpose is dynamic throughout life.

God’s workmanship is conceived at creation concluded at redemption continues by revelation. Where you’re is not your end but the bend to your expected end. The plan and purpose of God evolves as your obedience to the faith continues. Concluded at conception, revealed and renewed daily by word encounters. I am not a monument but a masterpiece, just like Jeremiah.

Redemption is the release of his workmanship by Christ Jesus. Monuments are turned to masterpieces by the revelation of Christ. Your life does not have to be a static like a monument, become God’s masterpiece.

“Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:4-5.

Prayer:

Thank you dear father that I am not a monument but a masterpiece. I am created a living being with a dynamic purpose managed by a creator not a curator. Revelation is for renewal of purpose in Jesus name.

WHO ARE YOU?

Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:4-5.

“Who are you?” this is a question often asked by security agents and new comers alike, It’s a quest for identity or identification. It’s also a question asked during a brawl between two individuals who know not themselves.  The question maybe different “who do you think you are?”

This could be a good time to say worse things of yourself but also an opportunity to say who you really are. When the use of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable says the preacher. Jeremiah got the picture of his future from the pages of scripture.

A guide through life, the reason for living; ordained a prophet to the nations. Who are you? What is ordained for you?

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”Jeremiah 29:11-13.

God has taken deep thoughts concerning you before you were formed. You were designed for a purpose and created for a reason. The adventure of living is the discovery of his thoughts for you.

We were prepared by God for some prepared things in life. It maybe related to ministry, business, career but may not be your profession. When the thoughts of God for you become your thoughts, living becomes a masterpiece. Your heart comes in synchrony with the will of God for precision lifestyle. You’re not ordained to be like any other person, you’re ordained to be what God has planned for you.

Created by God, a masterpiece by redemption, living by precision; that is who I am.

Prayer:

I am created for something great, redeemed to become a masterpiece and ordained to live with precision. Dear father I am thankful for my revealed identity through Christ Jesus

A prepared lifestyle

By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Hebrews 11:9-10.

One of the vital aspects of any building is the foundation. It predetermines the height and pattern of the building. The deeper the foundation, the higher the anticipated stature of destiny & life.

Our fathers in the faith also had the same desire, they lived in hope of discovery, not digging the foundations. Their desired expectation has been fulfilled in Christ. God created man to fulfill plans and purposes prepared by God for his life. Everyone created of God has a destiny to fulfill in his lifetime.

The purpose of life is the discovery of reason for living. Christ is the foundation for life, understanding gives access to purpose.

“For we are labourers together with God:ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”1 Corinthians 3:9-11.

The foundation is the beginning of prepared places and paths to walk and live in. We’re not created by chance but choice; prepared beings for prepared things. It begins with a prepared foundation with patterns and pillars insert. We’re built up according to the pattern to have a prepared lifestyle.

Discovery and partnership are key elements for prepared living. We are not built by our environment or what is seen around, but by what eyes have not seen; pictures from the pages of scriptures. In Christ we are prepared for what God has prepared for us. The prayer of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has been answered in Christ. What a privileged generation, a people prepared. Grafted and structured in Christ for prepared things and places in life.

Prayer:

Thank you dear God and father of our lord Jesus Christ for bringing us into a prepared life by redemption. May we continually live prepared, in prepared places having prepared things by the love of the same Christ Jesus.

REASON FOR LIVING

Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:4-5.

Life is a journey of discovery, word adventure is a must for travellers. Every time I read these verses, I am inspired the more to discover the reason for living. The word of God literally came to Jeremiah personally and showed him his purpose in life- a prophet to the nations.

As dramatic as it may seem, the same word is still in the business of showing persons their reason for living. The picture of the future is in, from, and by the word of God. Every encounter with the same leads to understanding of purpose and giving life a meaning. The word comes alive with its entrance, the end is shown from the beginning.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”  Psalms 119:130.

The word does not leave you on doubt, details are provided for life. Light and understanding is the cure for confusion; meaning for living is provided. Just like every house has a pattern, your life has a design and a pattern. You’re created for a reason, alive for a purpose. Life begins with a discovery of the reason for living.

Light and understanding is the believers compass in a world of chaos. Those that obtain understanding by the word become outstanding in life.

God is not a duplicator but a creator of life and destiny of men. Your life is not a reflection of what is in existence but an excellent inclusion into God’s treasures. You’re distinct by creation, different by design and a masterpiece for life.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

Prayer:

Dear father, thank you for showing me that I am not a duplicate but custom made for life. May the light of your word take me on this voyage of discovery for distinction in the name of Jesus.
