THIRD-DAY MIRACLE

“And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth:and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day.”Genesis 1:11-13.

The seedtime and harvest principle was established on the third day of creation, long before man came to the scene. The scene was already set, prepared before the creation of animals. The third day represents resurrection and revival; the dead are raised, the dying revived.

The seed of life has been released in the seedtime and harvest. It however begins with a loss by planting of the seed on the earth, followed by the uncertainty and wait for it to sprout out of the earth. By the third day, the seedling is visible, germination has occurred.

The miracle of seedtime and harvest begins with a seed planted. The seed unplanted continues as a potential until realization of the dream of germination.

“And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.”Mark 4:26-29.

The seedtime and harvest principle delivers humanity from chance and enthrone responsibility. The earth sprouts to people that are ready to plant good seeds. Without the conscious effort of planting seeds, harvest is not in view.

The third-day miracle is the proof of the power of the seed to give life whether by resurrection or revival. The seed is for the dramatic turnaround of humanity from dependence to interdependence. Jesus is the word of God and the living seed that died, buried and raised from the dead; the process is the law or system of the kingdom of God. Whatever is not planted has no future nor life-giving ability.

The seeds are the picture of the future and the secret to abundant living.  It’s time to plant dreams, visions, ideas, careers for a harvest of possibilities.

“But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”Matthew 13:8-9.

Prayer: 

Thank you father for the seedtime and harvest principle applicable in every area of life. Grace to plant and harvest every seed in life is mine; resurrection and revival is my portion in Jesus name.

THE SOWER

“And God said, Let there be light:and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good:and God divided the light from the darkness.”Genesis 1:3-4.

The seed is the unit of life, everything alive has a seed beginning. Great things also have small beginnings, every great thing begins small. This is a theme that’s largely forgotten or unattended to in the quest for contemporary greatness. It’s obvious that the fabric of the universe runs on these; seedtime and harvest.

It all begins with the seed, the seed is the word from God.

This is the seed given by God to man to become extraordinary or exceptional in life. The seed has within itself the ability to grow, increase, multiply in extraordinary measure even In unusual circumstances. The seed of the word give life and sustenance to the physical things we see.

The seed is available to all, those that plant the seed end up with greatness in life.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:”Isaiah 55:8-10.

The seed is the ticket to elevate in life. God is not the one withholding greatness from anyone, access and use of the seed is the ticket to greatness. The future desired is the byproduct of the seed sown today. The future is for the sower, the type of seed determines the future in view.

The future is either in chain or changed but the seed sown; it’s a sowers world. It’s not up to God to make you great, it’s up to you to make the most of the seed of greatness. The seed makes the difference between sowers and consumers of seed. The seed is the ticket to life distinction and difference. Every dedicated sower ends up accomplished in life.

Sowing and reaping is the lifestyle of the kingdom of heaven.

Prayer: 

Thank you my father for giving me seed for sowing and bread; lack is not the cause of dryness but use of the seed for investment. I am a sower not a consumer of seeds. My greatness is assured by the same Christ Jesus.

THE GIFT AND GIVER

“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds:but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.”Matthew 13:31-32.

The seed is the unit of kingdom greatness in life and eternity. Great things begin small, every great tree begins from the seed. Nature and nurture are established theories of growth, increase and multiplication. 

The greatest tree has the smallest seed; from parable to practice, the seed is the unit of life physical or spiritual. There is a seed of every great endeavour, don’t just admire the tree, find the seed and grow it to greatness. The seed has the genetic make-up required and is desired for greatness. Being born again or being in Christ is the seed of greatness in man.

Christ or the word of God is God’s seed of greatness to humanity.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: “Isaiah 55:8-10.

God is the giver of seed to the sower and bread to the eater. The greatest enemy of greatness is eating the seed instead of sowing the seed. Sowers are always under construction, consumers eat their seed hence not under construction.

Increase, growth, multiplication, breakthrough and abundance are in the seed. God gives his servants the seed of greatness only sowers enjoy the benefit. The seed has remained unchanged, so also the giver and the effect of sowing the seed. The processor system of the kingdom has been established from the foundation of the earth; the gift and giver, the seed of greatness and sower.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”Joshua 1:8.

Prayer:

Thank you father for being the giver of the seed of greatness in the word of God and Lord Jesus Christ. I am growing, increased, multiplied and abounding in life the knowledge of the same Christ Jesus.

PROFITABLE WORD

“And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?”Luke 2:49

One of the fallacies of this generation is that God is not a business person. An assumption that business is secular and not spiritual, a notion held by some believers likewise. I was wondering what business Jesus was referring to in these verses. If there is “my father’s business”, God must be the greatest business person.

The notion of being as poor as the church rat seemed to have been overtaken by the prosperity associated with the gospel today. With the foregoing, God must be the greatest and richest person and his business the greatest and richest business enterprise. The same principles that prosper my father’s business can prosper anything and everything everywhere.

God is in business, the church is his business enterprise, his children stakeholders in God’s business.

“Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”Isaiah 48:17.

God is committed to mentoring and coaching his children of kingdom business sense for durable prosperity on earth. God’s business is the greatest enterprise on earth, following his instructions is the secret to greatness in life. Gods word is his instruction for business breakthroughs just as he is prosperous in business. Every instruction is for mans construction and profiting.

God’s word turn business breakdown to breakthrough using the same word from God. The seed of the word is the secret to growing Greatness in every area of human endeavour.

If it is working for God on the earth, it will work for you; instructions are profitable.

Thank you dear father for being the father of business and the greatest of the greatest. Your instructions makes living and business profitable. Thank you do your instructions and direction in Jesus name.

LIGHTNING & THUNDER

At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.Acts 26:13-14

One of the lights that’s fascinating yet terrifying is the lightning. As children, it was customary to hide whenever the lightning is seen. The debate rages about which is more dangerous between thunder and lightning. One thing is sure, I have seen more damaging effects of lightning than thunder, however, both coexist. The lightning precedes the sound of thunder; the light and sound from heaven. 

Lightening is the sudden and instant release of bright and shining light. Science claims it’s a result of electrostatic discharge from electrically charged clouds. Several gigajoules of energy is released whenever lightning occurs. This information is interesting, light provides energy, the sound gives direction for living.

“Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.”Daniel 10:5-6.

Everyone that amounted to much in the kingdom had an encounter with the man in the verse. As swift as the lightning is the quick and active turnaround power of light. As loud as the thunder is the voice of his word that follows the light. The brighter life is the byproduct of his light and sound of heaven.

Every great person in the kingdom has a light and sound encounter. From Joseph, Daniel and Paul the apostle, the pattern is the same.  The lightning bright light of Christ causes a sudden and instant change from darkness to light. A change from darkness to light changes opportunities and experience. When light comes, the sound of his voice becomes clear.

The secret hidden by darkness is shown and heard in the light. Let the light and his voice be the guide of your life; welcome to the brighter life.

“That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”John 1:9-12.

Prayer 

Thank you father for the sight and sound that sets us free form darkness to the light. The platform for kingdom greatness is active and accessible and the impact generational through Christ Jesus.

GOOD TIDINGS, GREAT JOY

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”John 3:16-17.

One of the hallmarks of the season is the exchange of gifts and greetings, usually wishing everyone a merry  christmas. I am sometimes lost in wonder whether “merry Christmas” can communicate the enormous gift of God to man by the birth of Christ Jesus.

Christ is the embodiment of the life nature and ability of God. Wishing one a merry, cheerful, joyful, festive and lively celebration without the gift maybe insufficient. Everything needed by man and all of humanity is packaged in Christ. Everythig that humanity cannot obtain elsewhere is found in the newborn king.

Merry begins with the receipt of the gift of love from God to men.

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not:for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”Luke 2:10-12.

The good tidings or news of the coming of Christ Jesus causes the eruption of great joy. Receiving the gift of love grants the recipient unspeakable joy continuously. One of the gifts of Christ is salvation, it’s the ticket to all other gifts of his coming.

Merry is an announcement of the good news; it’s like the aroma of a good meal. Joy is the portion of all that have tasted the gift of God. Salvation is the gift of his birth, he came to save all men. This is the good news announced at his birth; this is the reason for the season. Every one that receives this good news have joy without measure; the saviour is born.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”Isaiah 9:6.

Prayer:

Thank you father for the good news of great joy that is to all men; the saviour is born. This is the reason for the season, salvation is now available and accessible by the same Christ Jesus.

REIGNING WISDOM

So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God. Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. 2 Chronicles 27:6-7.

There are many theories of greatness, nature and nurture or genetics and environmental. The proponents and the opponents have reasons for believing in their course. The discourse does not end, it’s continuous; many pride themselves in their heritage of greatness and have 3-4 generations of greats. Many of the kings in the scriptures were born into royalty, but not all became great.

One phrase was always used for those that became great” they did that which was right before the lord God of Isreal”. “This reinforces my belief that all men are born equal” doing the right thing determines your status and stature   No matter how great your heritage, doing that which is right is a must.

“And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah did. And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God:and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.”2 Chronicles 26:4-5.

Teachers are great treasures in helping us choose right from wrong. Everyone that became great had great teachers of the truth. Greatness is becoming what is written concerning you. Copycats end up as mediocre, the best is being what you’re born to be in Christ.

The first step to reign in life is to be born into the kingdom of God; that’s the only heritage of guaranteed greatness. Princes are born,kings are made! Ask Jotham or Uzziah. Teachers turn princes to kings by wisdom transferred by truth Impartation.

Information is the limitation, knowledge is for liberty, wisdom is the reigning key

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.” Proverbs 4:7-9.

Prayer:

Dear heavenly father, greatness is defined by you, almighty is your heritage. Your children are the seeds of the almighty with the heritage of greatness. Teach us to reign in life by the same wisdom through Christ Jesus.

TRUTH OR TRASH

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Acts 20:32.

Going to church was a whole day’s event, not just for Sunday mornings. It’s important to eat in the morning and prepare lunch before going to church as one comes back hungry and famished.There were no noodles then but good rich breakfast was the norm. 

Church service begins with Sunday school or bible study in small groups with an outline and scripture in hand and in heart. This was before the general church service when everyone comes together and summarizes the thoughts on the bible study section. If you missed the bible study section, it’s considered that you missed service for that day. Church service ends from 12-2pm and business meetings of groups begin. At the end of the day, exposure time to scriptures were much for spiritual growth.

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart:for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16.

You’re what you eat, a good look at you will show what you’re eating; truth or trash? Just as you cannot grow fat, eating noodles and drinking water, neither can you by spending little time studying the word and spending ample time on the Tv and social media platforms.

Please,who changed church service time from 3 to 5 hours average to 1hour? When you get lost in the study of the word, revelation overtakes confusion, peace overcomes crisis and strength for weakness is received. The word is the total meal for the total man, make room for teaching, reading and meditation of the word.

Malnutrition is the master key to a world of misery, meditation is eating, teaching is building with scriptures; truth replaces trash.

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Isaiah 55:1-2.

Prayer:

Dear father, thank you for showing me the great future prepared in the kingdom but accessible by word encounter. Investing time and resource in the truth is my way into my inheritance, deliver me form the trash of distractions in Jesus name.

LIVING-PROOFS

Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law. But when they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them. And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries. 2 Chronicles 15:3-5.

Some years ago, a teacher of the word was in Nigeria on invitation by some churches to minister. In his characteristic style he stayed true to his ministry, expounding, insightful exposition on the scriptures on particular aspects. This to the chagrin of some people in his audience who were already ministers of the gospel. He said something that was upsetting to some but insightful to others, “preaching is to unbelievers, teaching is for believers”. 

Many go to church every Sunday to hear preachings and all the Hallelujah moments with shoutings and screaming and dancing but no teaching. The salvation message is repeated every service in different presentations leading to new births and miracle prayers being offered.

This however leads to Christians who are not taught and immature in kingdom matters.

“For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness:for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”Hebrews 5:12-14.

Many have stunted spiritual growth even while attending services regularly as their experience has not gone beyond the salvation message heard regularly. It may sound surreal until a topic comes up for discussion and a long time believer is barely knowledgeable about it.  

Teaching of the word leads to spiritual growth and strong believers who can handle life issues without the help of their pastors. Preaching is like the aroma of the food, it entices and inspires one to eat, teaching is the actual act of eating the word of God and obtaining the nutrient for a life of exploits. Its impossible to expect exploits from a baby on milk even in the kingdom.

The matured are not seeking a miracle, they live as miracles, they are not looking for healing, they live in health. It’s your season of manifestations, you are taught to triumph in life as a living proof.

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries:but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32.

Prayer: 

Dear father and God of the lord, it’s the knowledge of you that is the key to a life of exploits. Teach me to triumph in life and become a living-proof of your word by the same Christ Jesus .
