And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever:a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Hebrews 1:6-8.
In every nation of the world and every kingdom, there’s always a throne. This might be political or a monarchy, but one throne is sovereign. In the spiritual realm also, there’s one throne, one authority that is sovereign. Jesus is not lord of some, he is lord of all.
Just like in many nations, there are dissents, but sovereignty is supreme. The sovereign takes charge of all the resources of the nation and crushes the dissents at will. The kingdom of God is no different, the sons are redeemed to be commanders and combatants of the kingdom. Dethroning devils, destroying his works at will backed by the throne of God.
“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8.
The sons are seated in heavenly places by Christ Jesus. One throne and one power to destroy, liquidate, annihilate and bring to nought the works of the devil. Everywhere the son manifest, the throne is activated.
The devil is not just afraid of you as a person, he’s afraid of the throne backing you. No one ever wins a war against the throne of God. It’s unassailable, insurmountable and never loses a battle. The throne is for ever, the triumph is continuous backed by the armour of God.
To thread on serpents and scorpions is not optional but mandatory. It’s the emblem of the the throne and of the power of Jesus Christ. Never forget this- Jesus is crowned Lord of all, not Lord of some.
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy:and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”Luke 10:19-20.
Dear God and father, it’s delight some to know that the throne is forever and that the kingdom reigns. There’s one throne and one power over devils and demons. It’s my turn to reign in life by the same Jesus Christ my Lord.
