But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. Proverbs 4:18-19.

One of the inspiring words that I hear repeatedly from my father, Bishop David Oyedepo is “you will never have a better yesterday, and a better last year“. This may sound ordinary to some but a reminder of the effect and influence of light for life.

Darkness is helpless in the presence of light. The intensity of darkness cannot withstand the entrance of light. The light commandment and the covenant from the beginning has continued till date. The light out of darkness covenant is a bright and shining more and more. Everyday is an improvement on the previous day, the light for today is brighter than yesterday. The brighter light is for the brighter and better life.

I say also as my father has said, you shall never have a better yesterday neither a better last year!

“The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”John 1:2-5.

Light did not shine once and for all but more and more. Darkness has no answer to the light of life, neither is Hell able to cope with light invasion. Many that predicted the decline in the light of Christ have become victims of light invasion.

Light from heaven turned the persecutor and prosecutor Saul to apostle Paul, the same light is for your turnaround. The light shines in darkness with more intensity and brightness resulting in better living, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. A better day is not a wish, neither a better year unusual; light connection ensures a better and brighter future.

Your better and perfect days lies ahead!

“For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalms 16:10-11.

Thank your dear Father for the franchise of better and brighter days and years ahead. No more good old days, better and brighter days lie ahead for me by the light of Christ Jesus
