Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: Colossians 2:8-10.

There are some colloquials that have put some persons in perpetual bondage, one of them is “God will do it”. That sounds very familiar but I would always ask a rider, what are you doing? And the next fallacy would follow-“I am waiting on God. This is a very strong combination of phrases that have robbed many of their kingdom dignity and colour.

It’s news to many to hear that “God has done it” he is currently waiting on you to do your part. Any faith that makes God sorely responsible for the issues of your life is an irresponsible faith. Faith is a covenant, when your part is done, God is commited.

Wrestling, fight, combat is the duty of man; the sons are gods among men.

“Ye are god” is not a status symbol, it’s a combat, wrestle and battle  mentality.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:12-13.

Wrestling is not by chance, Its a must, fighting is not a choice, it’s the norm for the sons of God. The devil and his minions are combat ready since the fall, God has given us a position and weapons of warfare for the  same reason. Every son of God that is not combat ready and on active duty becomes a victim.

God has equipped the sons to take charge of life battles and withstand the evil one. Expecting God to do it is an insult on the heritage of redemption. Sons reign by conquest; you’re not the victim but the victor.

“Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon:behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land:begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.”Deuteronomy 2:24.

Prayer :

Dear heavenly father, thank you for the conquest of Jesus Christ on the cross over principalities and powers. I am equipped to win the battles of life by the same grace and power. I am not a victim but victorious in Jesus name.
