For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me:and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. Matthew 8:9.

Hierarchy, seniority or pecking order is an important aspect of military, paramilitary and civil society. Employment or enlistment into any organization or group is at a particular level. It’s important to know who is below and above you in the pecking order. In the military and paramilitary organizations, the wearing of ranks on the lapel make such distinction easy. The exchange of compliments in military and paramilitary organization is based on the rank. Authority is bestowed on the most senior officer in the team who becomes the team lead.

If natural things are so organized and detailed how much more spiritual things. You are far above, out of reach of principalities and powers by redemption.

“But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Hebrews 1:13-14.

You’re seated at the right hand of Jesus, even the devil is not in your class. Without an understanding of the authority of the believer and your identity in Christ, you’re not in command. We are not in command by stature but by status in redemption. The angels are our ministers or literally servants of God delegated to us

Hierarchy is the law of life to give command and be commanded. By redemption we are in command of angels and demons by the word of God. Say to one go and he goes and to another come and he does come. A commander cannot be silent in the face of challenge but changes the narrative by his word.

Take charge of life by the word of God, you’re seated far above to be in command.

“Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,”Ephesians 1:20-22.

Thank you father for the riches of redemption that I am seated in heavenly places by Christ Jesus far above principalities and powers. I am in command, he is in control. Thank you again in Jesus name.
