Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Isaiah 60:1-3.

Night driving is not the hobby of many persons In a low resource setting where the roads are not safe and in deplorable conditions, traveling at night could be a driver’s nightmare. You may wonder why anyone would dare to travel at night in such situations. However they do with the help of bright lights and flood lamps on their vehicles.

Light is the right to see ahead and be ahead. In light, the picture of the future becomes crisp and clear, this is the essence of light. Without the picture of your future, the present becomes the deciding factor. Those that see ahead live ahead. Those that lack vision stumble and tumble on the present without making progress.
Many have made permanent decision based on temporary situations for lack of light.

“The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.” Matthew 4:16.

In darkness everyone is shortsighted; feelings, assumptions and imagination rules.

Those that see ahead live ahead, the light of Christ gives them a head start in life. Every decision made in darkness is bound to be wrong, its based on the present perception.
Many are still living in regrets over the wrong decisions made years ago.

Light changes your outlook to life to see the future clearly and take visionary decisions & actions. You can turn the tide of times by seeing ahead and living ahead of your contemporaries. Make the difference, be different; by the light of Christ see ahead and be ahead. Become a city set on a hill that cannot be hid. Head ahead, light has come.

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16.

Prayer: My father, I thank you for your light that causes us to see ahead so as to be ahead. A city set on a hill is my light experience in Jesus name.
