The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Psalms 23:1-3.

The grass they say is always greener on the other side. Is that really true?  A tree, however, grows best where it is planted of God. The shepherd has the responsibility to guide to green pastures and our responsibility is to follow as sheep. The sheep may endure endless journeys to locate green pastures. Which would you rather choose? To seek or be led to green pastures. What you do and where you dwell may not be the green pastures of your dream. The presence of water makes the grass green, its absence lead to dryness. You don’t need to change location or profession, you need a shepherd. The shepherd guarantees your supply and location in green pastures. Green pastures are the paths of righteousness; lack is the converse. When the lord is your shepherd, you lie down in green pastures. Lack is not location or profession specific, it is covenant determined.

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”Psalms 1:1-3.

The covenant is the waterside of unending blessings from God. Your standing is determined by the covenant, irrespective of profession or location. Anything and anyone planted by this covenant waterside is green. Green represents flourishing, invigorating, productive and enviable living. The covenant makes living green not only grasses or things. The shepherd does not just lead to green pastures but to a green lifestyle. The law of the lord is the word from God. The word of God is the water that satisfies and fertilises life. Everything is green, where the word of God supplies. The shepherd guides to the living word to grant a green lifestyle. Make your life green by the covenant placement; prosper and be successful.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”Joshua 1:8.
