For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.Romans 5:17.
In the news of the past few days is the multiple terrorist attacks in Paris.Followed by the methodical manhunt by the French and Belgian authorities. This resulted in foiling an imminent attack, capture and death of the mastermind and ringleader of these attacks.
It’s amazing to know that one person made it all happen. All the horror of the last few days is due to type of wisdom obtained. The wisdom that kills, steals and destroys to gain influence. This wisdom was sold, bought and used; it’s not new.
It’s the same wisdom behind Boko Haram, Al qaeda, ISIS and similar groups. This wisdom kills and is killed in the process. If one man’s wisdom could bring so much horror to the French and the world at large, how much more shall the wisdom of God in one man save many lives. In the wisdom of God one man has died that all may have life. Which is your brand of wisdom? Terror or glory, killer or the giver of life?
There is no middle grounds, have one and loose the other. Terror has sought to overshadow glory and the battle rages on. It’s a clash of wisdoms and the wisdom of God must win. Just as terror makes news, glory also makes news; bad news or good news. Many are turning from wickedness to righteousness by the wisdom of God.
If we don’t operate the wisdom of God, we open ourselves to the evil wisdom. The Gospel is the wisdom of God that turns the heart of men to the true God.The wisdom and power of God is what it takes for a change of wisdom. For those that desire terror to end, glory must spread. This wisdom of God is life and gives life, it’s the key to reign in life.
“Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.” Proverbs 23:23.
“And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”Luke 1:17.
