Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old. Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. Proverbs 23:22-23.

Every child harkens to the voice of his father and never forsakes the instructions of his mother. These instructions deliver from destruction. Wisdom, therefore, is your life line.

Every child continues to hear the voice of his father and the instruction of his mother. That is the worth of wisdom. Wisdom is priceless but has a great price tag. One of the hallmarks of wisdom is instructions. The truth is not negotiable, it is to be done to the letter. The truth is not just an opinion, it is the modus operandi of wisdom. Wisdom commands and instructs, it’s not open to discussion. This may not go down well with some people so they buy foolishness. Living as commanded places in command of life issues. Those that buy wisdom sell foolishness. Foolishness is the cheapest commodity on sale, it’s the commonest commodity anywhere in the world. Trusting the words of a man is foolishness, the word of God makes wise. The price tag of wisdom is prayer and relationship with God. When the ancient of days is your father, his wisdom becomes your instruction. Wisdom is your father’s word and your mother’s instruction. This is the wisdom that we have to do with. The inspired never expire before challenges, they are in command. Every word of God gives wisdom, instruction for perfection.

Buy wisdom and sell it not, it’s your lifeline.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”2 Timothy 3:16-17.
