And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26.
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48.
I’ve been fascinated with buildings since I was a child. From foundation to decking and roofing; it’s always intriguing. Building blocks and mortar converted to a structure and then a beauty.
The structure is the framework, and superstructure that holds the house. A house is not finished when the structure is completed. The furnishing, painting, screening, tiling, lighting add value to the house. So also is man, your body is a gift and responsibility. The builder does not determine its design, the architect does. The body doesn’t complete man, it complements and supports him. We are designed for perfection; mediocrity is excluded by the maker. Whatever has been designed at creation is revealed at redemption. From the new birth, infancy, childhood and adulthood, his image and likeness is formed in us. The beauty of redemption is in perfection, the glory of the new creation is in its manifestation. It is the reproduction of the master-plan of God for your life. Knowing the perfect God help us reject that which is inferior to him.
If it is of God, it is in tune with perfection. Relationship with God transforms man, his word perfects our heart. Redemption decorates destiny and makes masterpiece of humanity. Dominion is a measure of perfection with God. Good, acceptable and perfect; you are at the level of your choice.
Your best is yet to come.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”Romans 12:2
