And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day:and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? Genesis 3:8-9.

Its very distressing to have glitches on the line while making an important phone calls. Brief pauses make it impossible to hear the person at the other end. Ending the call and calling back maybe an option. What if you can’t call back?

The fall was a disconnect from the voice and presence of God. It was our choice to end a call that we did not initiate. Many are still hiding from the lord, keeping away from his voice avoiding his presence. Without his voice every man loses his way.

The force of disobedience and sin is still at work. His voice gives meaning, instruction and direction for life. Living without his voice, leaves one with all the noise of the earth,

Redemption reconnects to the call of God; his voice and presence.

His voice brings salvation to the lost; to find the way of life. Just like we desire the reconnection of an important call, so also do we need to hear the call of God. If the voice of God installs fear or hiding, disobedience and sin is the cause.

His voice redeems refreshes and renews; grants access to his presence. His voice and his presence are the highest duty of man.

The lord calls you back today, don’t miss his voice. Those that hear his voice see his work. You can’t miss your way again, ever!

“For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:”Psalms 95:7-8.

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”Revelation 3:20.
