Neither is there salvation in any other:for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
Names are important to life. The name of every person that ever lived is on record.
These names are fondly remembered by persons impacted by their life. Some were contacted briefly with maximum impact hence remembered. Some were met continuously without impact so their names are forgotten. Sometimes we wonder why we forgot the name of a classmate but remember names of celebrities we never met. Being first, distinct or influential announces a person and his name. The name is remembered and revered by many. In death and life names continue, men of impact live on in effect. The level of impact in life determines effect in death.
The limits of influence could be local, regional, national, continental or international.
Many diminish in impact in death, their accomplishments remembered in the past and for a while until their records are broken and forgotten.
Jesus is distinct because of his many firsts and also last; Alpha and Omega.
Angelic announcements, Virgin Birth, victorious and overcoming life, miracles, signs and wonders, death for sins, hell conqueror, first begotten from the dead, bodily received in heaven in the presence of witnesses, seated at the right hand of God. In life, the persons that knew him testifies, in death hell experienced his effect, by resurrection he lives on for all.
By ascension he penetrates the heaven throne room to enforce impact. In death, he achieved more than in life; he increases, never diminishing.
The man lived, but Jesus lives; that makes all the difference.
His name remains the password to life, destroying death and the grave, hell and making heaven real on the earth. No other name can compare, no other person can contest.
The highest honour of religion is a marked grave; the testimony of humanity. His name is the testimony of divinity. He lives from generation to generation, impacting all in all.
That is the worth of his name; Jesus saves.
That is what his name delivers; Salvation. Jesus lives on, he saves all.
“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”Revelation 1:17-18.
“Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me:because I live, ye shall live also.”John 14:19.
