For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. Zechariah 2:5.

There was this secular song I heard as a child “My mother said we’re not to play with fire oh oh, fire will burn you”
It’s a reminder of what not to do around a flame. A flame has no owner, it burns everything on its way. It’s better to avoid the flames rather than attempt to tame the flame. The saved are aflame with God, they are no go areas. Those that play with lives aflame have burnt issues to show. The lighted place can be accessed after the flame has been quenched, not before.
The saviour and your maker is greater than the adversary. Redemption is not only for spiritual cover, it grants physical cover. The value of salvation should not be watered down.
Spiritual cover is the foundation for life protection. Jesus was inaccessible till he gave himself up as a sacrifice. Paul was killed several times and raised up before he gave up.
John was banished to the island of Patmos after death was denied several times.
Even though we are considered sheep for slaughter, no knife of the enemy is permitted to touch us. Vulnerable yet inaccessible, defenseless yet impregnable. We are lighted for life, salvation light up lives. The light of Christ in us repels evil and defends us.
We are not touched because the condition is not right, but because of his wall of fire.
The wall of fire by night and the cloud by day within and without. This is the value of salvation, too defended to be victims in life.
Your defender determines your defense; who is your defender? The flames are real, your defense is sure; light up your life with Christ.

The saved are safe, are you?
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”Psalms 46:1.
“And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them;
and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the Lord hath spoken it.”Obadiah 1:18.
