And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27.
Creation is one of the most amazing story of scriptures.
Man was “produced” from dust or earth. The same dust or earth that we walk on today is raw material for man. One may ask me to prove it; God said it, his word is proof.
Long before evolution was born, his word is true and is still recreating men.
Death is another proof that man is dust; buried or cremated, dust is returned. Death is removal of the breath of life while the fall is disconnection from God.
Spiritual death or the fall preceded physical death of man. Its interesting to know that man was created from common things. All the beauty, curves, six packs and elegance is dust for show. Without reconnection to God or Salvation, man remains dusty. Subject to weather and environmental activity; Captives of Dust.
Salvation completes the man and returns him to his former estate; In the image and likeness of God. Salvation recreates man, from the fallen to eternal; made from dust and transformed to a priceless vessel.
Earth, Dust or trash is transformed to treasures by the Word and Spirit of God. New life is uploaded into dust for an eternal adventure. From earthly to heavenly, temporal to eternal, terrestrial to celestial. Dust is returned at death, but the breath or Spirit of God continues immortal. If the curves and six packs are desirable how much more the new life. If we are captivated by dust/trash how much the treasure. Its recreation time, the temporal is replaced by the eternal; his word at work.
Trash the dust, take the treasure. Its your heritage.
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”2 Corinthians 4:7.
